'Zoomorphs VII'
 
Made from the same piece of wood, after a bowl decided it would rather be something else. A clear inference of mammalian shape but refusing to be defined any more than that.
 
Hand carved with green woodworking tools, 2 Hazel heartwood pieces, Corylus avellana, from the ancient coppice in the Guildhall garden, Finished with hemp oil.
Apprximatley 7cm tall and 10cm wide when pieces placed side by side.
 
Originally part of the exhibition 'Raw - Tactile Viscera' that was installed at the Guildhall in September 2024.
