There is nothing quite like exploring the world through the wonderful variety of materials it provides. The things to learn are endless.

I find so much joy in connection to past and future through materials, places and processes, and by using all the senses, especially touch.

I like to make use of odds and ends, finding life in usually considered waste products, making beautiful and functional things for everyday use. It is important to me to be as hands on as possible with materials, wether through gathering them, or hand processing or tooling.

My working focus is on local green wood, fibres and dyes, but there is also lots of experimenting with all sorts of things including clay, metal and willow as well.

​

I am based just outside of Harleston in south Norfolk but am to be found out and about around Norfolk, Suffolk Cambridgeshire and Essex.
