Use locally grown Woad and explore the magic of natural blue dye using the hydrosulphite vat method. We will be dyeing sample skeins and pieces of fabric as well as overdyeing with a traditional yellow (usually Weld or Apple) to make a strong green.
 
If you have anything you'd like to dye yourself please feel free to bring it along and we'll see if we can fit it in. 
 
Please bring washing up gloves if you have them.
