'Pillow Topography'
 
Gentle and subtly contoured blocks than emulate the shape of the land. Not quite fitting together, but shadowing each other, and wishing to be held.
 
Hand carved with green woodworking tools, 2 Hazel heartwood pieces, Corylus avellana, from the ancient coppice in the Guildhall garden, Finished with hemp oil.
Approximatley 9x7cm when pieces placed side by side.
 
Originally part of the exhibition 'Raw - Tactile Viscera' that was installed at the Guildhall in September 2024.
