Mulberry Silk Carrier Rods

Carrier rods are a waste product from silk production. They have a sericin content and can be split into thinner layers and used to embroider over, or rolled into beads, spun, felted with or added to paper.

Being made of Mulberry silk they are excellent for taking up natural dyes, often darker than wool.
