Manx Loaghtan from Nowton Park and Wederdena Ryeland. 
 
Ryeland 4ply warp, with 24 individual naturally dyed strands using a mix of traditonal, trees, weeds and lichen dyes. A full colour swatch card is included. 
 
Woven in a satin weave on a Saori loom, it makes for a pleasingly reversible fabric - one side Ryeland dominate, the other Manx dominant. A satin weave in these yarns holds lots of air so would be great for a waistcoat or outerwear piece, or a comforting large cushion. 
 
Piece is 2m long and around 38cm wide, although there is a slight 1-2cm variability across the length. 
 
You can buy it by the metre or the whole piece. A meter panel will be sent with a line of machine sewing where it has been cut.
