These fleeces are washed and carded  by Fiona at Shire Mill, an independant mini mill in Leicestershire.

Currently available there is -

White Ryeland

Manx Loaghtan

Hebridean

White - Wederedena Ryeland -  from a small holder flock in Wetherden, Suffolk

This Manx Loaghtan  a paler than the Breedon Manx girls, and is made colour from the 2023 and 2024 clip of Douglas and Ramsey. It has more noils/boofs than the Breedon fleece too which means an exciting textured yarn when spinning.

The Hebridean is surprisingly soft and made 2023 and 2024 clip of Eigg and Jura or Steve

All these boys  have all run together and form a small wether conservation grazing flock at Nowton Park, Bury St Edmunds, although they were originally from Wimpole Farm NT.

Roving available as 25g or 50g balls. You can order any 4 roving balls of the same size and get a discount of 75p/£1.50 per ball. I can't work out how to do a discount across multiple roving pages so there will be a separate Roving Pick and Mix listing.
