Starting to spalt eating spoon,  carved in Hazel, Corylus avellana, with wood from Lavenham Guildhall, Suffolk
 
Made from ancient coppice in the corner of the Guildhall garden. Originally part of the sculpture 'The Secret Shadow' that was installed in September 2024.
 
Spoon total length 16cm, spoon bowl 4.8cm at widest.
