Small hand carved pudding bowl. Hazel, Corylus avellana from Lavenham Guildhall, Suffolk.
Made from ancient coppice in the corner of the Guildhall garden. A charming blend of heart and sap wood.
 
Spoon for scale only, not included. Available seperatley though!
Carved out with gouge and mallet, rounded with a spokeshave. Tool finished.
 
Originally part of the sculpture 'The Secret Shadow' that was installed in September 2024.
 
Bowl approximatley 16cm at widest, 14cm at narrowest. Asymetric but around 3.5cm deep
