Sunday 29th September 10am - 4pm

At Jubilee Hall, Starston, Norfolk, IP20 9NL

Rag rugs are a great way to use up old textiles and make them into something beautiful and useful for your home.
Come and enjoy a relaxed day making traditional ‘proddy’ style rag rugs - strips of fabric poked and knotted through a base fabric. We'll be using recycled hessian (coffee sacks) and all manner of fabrics.

We will have lots of material for you to use and to take away with you so you can finish your rug at home but please feel free to bring any fabric or rags that you want to include in your rug. If you have your own fabric scissors and a metal crochet hook please bring them (but don't worry if you don't have any).

Refreshments and all materials included but do bring a packed lunch. Starston village hall has a full kitchen so you will be able to heat up food if you wish.
