An fun introductory session focusing on practical processing of raw nettles for cordage and fibre. Harvesting, stripping and scraping. Talking through the retting process and twine making.
All materials and refreshments provided.
- gloves and long sleeves if you wish to protect from stings
- a basket or bag for collecting nettles, bags-for-life work well for this
- secateurs and a rolling pin if you have them
