An fun practical session focusing on the practical elements of using lime bast for cordage making. We'll talk about how to harvesting and process it as well as look at colouring it with natural dyes. In the afternoon we'll use the timber to make either a jointed snake or catterpillar using the morning's lime bast or make the bast into thicker cord/jewellery.

All materials and refreshments provided but please bring a packed lunch. The village hall has a full kitchen so please feel free to bring food that needs heating up or cooking :)

    Workshop places are non-refundable but you are welcome to roll it over to another session in the year if you are unable to attend.
