Hand carved wooden lucettes, for making a square sided cord that is great for ties, drawstrings and decoration. Lucette braiding was historically used for lacing up/ lacing on things on garments (like sleeves and bodices).
 They can produce thick or fine braid depending on which fibres are used, this is not dependant on the size of the lucette.  These are a modern design with the crochet hook style tips but they can be made any shape. No problem if you'd like a longer handle, or a rounder body, just let me know.
